The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regard to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to SRD all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
